Learn the basics of 3-D printing by creating a small pendant.
Pick from a selection of pre-made 3-D models, or prepare your own in advance. (You can find free 3-D models at thingiverse.com or printables.com.) Then learn how to print your 3-D model using the PrusaSlicer software and the library's Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3-D printer. Once your pendant is printed, you will have the option of putting it on a chain or cord to turn it into a necklace.
This program is for ages 10 and up. Registration is required.
If you would like to create or choose your own 3-D model for this program, please email the model as an STL file or send a link to the file to Anja Racke at aracke@plaincitylib.org by Monday, March 23.
