Michael Klamo has served as a Madison County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney since November 2019. He was raised in Pickerington, Ohio, and graduated from Pickerington High School North. Michael attended Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio, where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History and Political Science in 2015. From 2016-2019, Michael attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland. He graduated cum laude with a concentration in Criminal Law with Honors. At CWRU, he tutored first-year law students in legal writing, was recognized for his pro-bono work, and was a member of the International Law Journal. Michael was an intern at the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office from August 2018 through November 2019. On November 15, 2019, he swore his Oath of Office at the Madison County Common Pleas Court before Judge Eamon Costello. His responsibilities as Assistant Prosecutor include advising county entities such as the Board of Elections and Township Trustees, prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors, and representing Madison County in civil disputes and appeals. In his free time, Michael enjoys reading the newspaper, exercising, and watching soccer.
