Watch and discuss a variety book to film adaptations (and of course, the books those films come from)! For Adults and Teens (13+). Registration is required.
In Movie Book Club, we embrace the connection between the two mediums! Specifically, the books that have been made into movies, and the movies that come from those books.
Each Movie Book Club Saturday we will watch a film adaptation relating to a specific theme. Come having read a book or watched a movie that is an adaptation of some sort according to the theme. Following our movie watch, we will discuss our thoughts on the movie, along with the books and/or movies you chose to read/watch over the past month.
The themes are very flexible--fulfill them in whichever way you deem best. Be creative and have fun with them!
For Adults and Teens (13+)
Registration is Required
This Saturday's theme is... Academy Awards!
Along with that, we will be watching A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945)
Popcorn will be provided!
