Pick up a Take & Make kit with everything you need to create beautiful works of marbled ink.
April's Take & Make kits contain all the supplies you need to learn suminagashi, the Japanese art of paper marbling. Suminagashi, which literally means "floating ink," involves creating concentric circles of ink on water that can then be transferred to paper. The results are beautiful and unique works of art. This project is great for kids and adults alike, but we recommend children are supervised by an adult for this project to help prevent any messes. Please note that this project does involve the use of permanent ink.
Available for pickup at the library beginning Friday, April 12 while supplies last.
